How you can serve
Become a family friend
Walk alongside widowed parent for one year as an energetic advocate and compassionate listener. Training provided. (With a "learn more" link to the FF page.). This way, both boxes hightlight important ways to partner with parents.
Event support
Help make Family Friendzy and other events unforgettable for widowed families. Set up, greet families, run activities, provide childcare, or assist with logistics.
Provide Childcare
Provide loving childcare during support groups, workshops, and events so parents can fully participate without worry. Your presence gives parents the gift of time to heal, learn, and connect.
Administrative Support
Help with mailings, data entry, social media, graphic design, website updates, or other behind-the-scenes tasks that keep our programs running smoothly.
Professional services
Offer your expertise in areas like legal counsel, financial planning, counseling, marketing, fundraising, grant writing, or technology. Your professional skills can have tremendous impact.
Community Ambassador
Help organize fundraising events, spread awareness in the community, connect us with potential donors and partners, host a coffeeside chat or lunch-n-learn, etc.
One-time or ongoing opportunities

It's up to you. Some volunteers help at a single event each year. Others volunteer monthly or weekly. We'll work with your schedule and availability.
