OUR TEAM

Kelly Orrico, Co-Founder and President: After miraculously surviving a massive stroke at the age of 39, Mrs. Orrico took time off from teaching to recover and support her family during their move to Knoxville.  Mrs. Orrico’s passion is for God, her family, and all children. She has a masters degree in Education Administration, has volunteered as a CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocate) for children in Knoxville, served as a Rotarian in Roswell, GA, and has over 6 years experience in working charity events with Givesmart, a fundraising technology company. Her favorite past time is playing games with and being out on the water with her four children and husband.

C.J. Orrico, Co-Founder: As a lifetime entrepreneur, Mr. Orrico made a career out of helping others, including raising billions of dollars for over 5,000 charities as an Equity Partner at GiveSmart. Mr. Orrico currently serves in his role as a Principal at Greater Sum Ventures. After supporting his wife, Co-Founder, Kelly, through miraculously surviving and eventually recovering fully from a massive stroke at the age of 39, he often thought how blessed he was and couldn’t imagine how he would have carried on as a widower. Mr. Orrico is excited for the opportunity to impact as many widows’ lives as possible going forward and hopes that many of those he has encountered throughout his life are prepared to join him.

Amy Stuart, Board Vice President, has a masters degree in Counseling Psychology and worked for 14 years as an outpatient mental health counselor. One of the most rewarding aspects of her job was to partner with individuals on their journey towards emotional health and wholeness.  Her passion to encourage and provide support to others during a time of need is what drew her to be a part of the Widowed Parent Relief Project. “We are called to care for widows and orphans and I am so excited to step alongside the courageous individuals that this organization serves.” Ms. Stuart lives in Knoxville, TN, with her husband of almost 20 years and their two children. Ms. Stuart is active in volunteering at her children’s schools and at her church.
